Ian: when I toured with The Twist Devils there was a heck of a lot of mucking about, both on the stage and in between times. One day I was messing about jamming with Dave Cox (aka 'Badger' 'Celtic' etc) and The Twist started to form as a track.

People like the energy and driving feel of 'The Twist', and when played live I marvel at the types of dance people actually do to it, ranging from traditional drug-enhanced Irish folk to illicit whisky-fuelled punk pogoing... but I keep telling my mum not to do that one.
